Palama Settlement serves over 900 children,1,000 families and 250 senior citizens annually through a variety of academic, recreational, sports, community, and cultural programs. Most of the participants live in the area’s low-income neighborhoods. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where the participants can enhance their well-being. The youth programs include: In-Community Treatment Program; Pakolea Program; Youth Activities (sports, cooking and cultural activities); afterschool homework assistance; Aquatics; performing and fine arts (hula, ukulele, watercolor and pottery); computer lab; game room and scholarships programs.
