Program Description: 

Marimed's Ho'oma'a Program, is an after-school program that runs year-round for male and female youth ages 14-17 years of age that have been identified as needing additional assistance to be successful in community settings. Youth participate in four months of tutoring, youth leadership, personal development, counseling, family education activities. The design of the program promotes learning and personal growth in a safe and nurturing environment. This will provide a degree of structure with intensity on mental and physical activity that makes the program viable for youth who need additional assistance in traditional educational setting.
