Services help individuals involved in domestic abuse situations to become self sufficient, providing assessment, safety plan, Individual Service Plan, Case Management, Domestic Violence Information, Counseling, Community Referrals, Transitioning to First-to-Work, Financial Planning, Time Management and Referrals for Legal Assistance. There are no fees charged for this program.
If you are receiving Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) or Temporary Assistance to Other Needy Families (TAONF) and domestic violence is preventing you from holding a job and/or taking care of yourself and children, you are eligible for DVA services. You can be referred for DVA services by your DHS Eligibility Worker.
