Locations of the apartments are confidential. If you are in need of domestic abuse help, please call our Domestic Abuse Hotlines. The Domestic Abuse Shelters are temporary shelters offering women and children up to 90 days of a safe haven when fleeing from domestic violence. The shelter offers basic needs (food, clothing, etc.) counseling support, and services for children. During this temporary stay, they learn dynamics of domestic violence and how to develop a safety plan.

There are no fees charged for this program.
Services are provided to Hawaii’s families referred by the Department of Education. Each referral must meet the DOE admission criteria for a particular level of care as designated in the DOE Performance Standards.
