Program Description: 

Mālama Loko Ea is a Non-Profit Community Based foundation who strives to restore and preserve Loko Ea Fishpond in Haleiwa. Our mission is “to perpetuate the Native Hawaiian culture through education, land stewardship, and community building, while sustainably restoring our precious natural resources.” MLEF has welcomed thousands of youth learners who have helped with restoration projects and participated in cultural and ʻāina-based activities.
